…It’s my birthday! I have now reached the esteemed age where it is no longer polite to ask me what age I am. I am old enough for alcoholic beverages, too young for menopause, and anonymously lumped into that catch-all category of “mom”.
November has always been a time of change for me. That was the month I decided to lose weight 12 years ago. I have never looked back.
This is also the month of family get-togethers and of thanks-giving. Good food, good friends, and good fun. No wonder Thanksgiving has always been my favorite time of year!
This year, I would like to give thanks to you… my audience. In celebration of my birthday, I would like to give YOU a present.
What do you get? Well, like all good birthday presents, it’s a surprise. What I can tell you is it will be mailed to you, and might require more than one postage stamp. I can also tell you that it will help you achieve your health goals.
What do you need to do? All you need to do is comment on this blog post. Make sure to leave your personal email address, so I can find out where to send your present. The first three people to comment will be the lucky winners!
Happy birthday to all of us 🙂

Thanks, Toni. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I subscribe to the idea that a woman never tells her age 🙂 I will email you shortly about how to send you the free swag!
Thank you, Greta. One of the best things about having a birthday at my age is you get lots of freebies from restaurants 😉 I will email shortly about your free swag for commenting!
Awesome! Happy birthday to you!
November is a great month for a birthday. My oldest was born this month. That and presents are always awesome to get 🙂
I agree, Meagan. I was a misfit in my family, as the only fall baby amongst a load of spring babies. But, I wouldn’t trade it for the world! November has voting, daylight savings, and Thanksgiving! I will follow up in an email with your present.
Happy Birthday!
This is great…thank you for being so giving!

Thanks for visiting, Jamie. I did have four women who commented before you, but there might be another give-away coming up next year 🙂
Happy birthday. You are awesome giving away free staff on your bday.
Thanks, Monica. There’s always more fun in giving than receiving!
Happy birthday!
Happy, happy birthday!
